Adelaide - Alice Springs 13/6 12.20 (arr 14/6 13.45) <- "The Ghan" Train
Alice Springs - Darwin 18/6 11.50 (arr 13.50) <- Quantas Flight
Darwin - Cairns 24/6 06.45 (arr 11.00) <- Quantas Flight
Then we are planning to get an unlimited stop bus pass for the East Coast from Cairns - Sydney, and planning to leave Sydney for Auckland on the 15/6. [EDIT - The 15/7!]

Looks like a busy schedule,not sure about the last date! Will need to get my atlas out to see the distances involved.weather bit unsettled here now but good in the polytunnel, was there 'till 9pm last night then came in to watch Apprentice!Dad busy rolling all bird crop. Wheatear landed beside me in garden yesterday and stayed for ages a very bonny male in breeding plumage.

Your new plans look quite exciting. I was telling Dad that lots of folk like Tasmania. Our fellow Orcadian Donna should just be back from Australia, she was going to Melbourne and Perth. We are going to Orkney on the 6th June. The weather has been really good here so we think harvest will be early. Harry's wedding on the 2nd June Magnus is best man blackening was last weekend.
